Le pays sud-américain autorise légalement l’union entre trois personnes. Selon l’association LGBTI, il s’agit d’une “reconnaissance pour les familles”.
La Colombie, où le mariage homosexuel est autorisé depuis 2016, a officiellement reconnu début juin une famille composée de trois hommes.
“Nous voulions officialiser notre foyer, notre famille. Il n’y avait rien de solide légalement qui nous reconnaissait en tant que famille”, a déclaré Victor Hugo Prada, un des membres de cette union, dans une vidéo diffusée lundi. “Nous sommes une famille, une famille ‘polyamoureuse’. C’est la première fois en Colombie”, s’est-il réjoui.
Cet acteur et ses deux conjoints sont entrés, le 3 juin, sous le régime patrimonial connu légalement en Colombie sous le nom de “trieja”. Ce mariage à trois est formé avec un éducateur physique et un journaliste qui en 2000 avaient célébré la première noce gay publique en Colombie.
Une “reconnaissance”
Bien que ce type d’union soit fréquent, c’est la première fois “qu’il est légalisé”, ont expliqué à l’AFP avocat et l’association LGBTI (lesbiennes, gays, bisexuels, trans et intersexuels). “C’est une reconnaissance pour d’autres types de familles qui existent”, ont-ils estimé.
Selon l’avocat, accéder à ce régime patrimonial a des implications “cent pour cent légales” pour les trois hommes, qui en cas de séparation ou de décès auraient à procéder à une séparation de biens ou auraient accès à une pension
