Dr Assoa Adou, SG du Fpi, au fauteuil blanc:« Nous devons nous rejouir de la rencontre Bédié-Gbagbo ».« La nouvelle CEI est inacceptable ».« La reconciliation est plus importante que les élections de 2020 »
Le docteur Assoa Adou, secrétaire général du front populaire ivoirien (FPI), était l’invité de l’émission « Le fauteuil blanc » du quotidien « Le nouveau réveil », le 04 juillet 2019 à Abidjan, au cours de laquelle il s’est prononcé pendant 90 mn face aux journalistes sur l’actualité politique nationale, notamment la reforme de la commission électorale indépendante, la reconciliation nationale, le retour du Président Laurent Gbagbo, le dialogue avec le pouvoir, la rencontre imminente à Bruxelles entre les présidents Laurent Gbagbo et Henri Konan Bédié.
Pour lui, la nouvelle CEI dans sa forme actuelle telle que adoptée par le gouvernement mercredi en Conseil des ministres est inacceptable car elle consacre un passage en force qui n’a pas tenu compte des propositions de l’opposition.
Concernant la rencontre Bédié-Gbagbo qui doit se tenir dans quelques jours à Bruxelles, il a appelé les ivoiriens à se réjouir d’une telle rencontre qui s’inscrit dans le cadre d’une alliance entre le FPI et le PDCI pour reconquérir le pouvoir d’Etat en 2020.
Il a de nouveau appelé à la libération totale du Président Laurent Gbagbo et du ministre Charles Blé Goudé, qui sont selon lui pris en otage en Europe par la cour pénale internationale.
Sans Laurent Gbagbo, la réconciliation nationale est impossible en Côte d’Ivoire, c’est pourquoi il a appelé de tous ses vœux à son retour en Côte d’Ivoire.
Le Dr Assoa Adou était accompagné d’une importante délégation de son parti composée des les vice-présidents Odette Sauyet, Dano Djédjé, Martin Sokouri Bohui, Marie Odette Lorougnon Gnabry, Kone Boubakar, Sery Gouagnon, Gnagne Yadou, et des secrétaire généraux adjoints Dadié Pierre, Franck Anderson Kouassi, Cesar Etou, Billaud Daniel, Dr Ble Christophe, etc…
On notait aussi la présence remarquée du Pr Georges-Armand Ouegnin, président de la plateforme gbagboïste EDS, et d’Anaky Kobenan innocent, président du MFA.

« Je voudrais d’abord remercier le président Fondateur du Groupe ” Le Réveil”, Dénis Kah Zion, pour son invitation. C’est ce que nous souhaitons en Côte d’Ivoire. Que nos concitoyens se parlent, s’invitent pour discuter, pour se connaître, pour que ce pays avance vers la paix.
Je voudrais lui dire merci. Merci également à tous vos confrères. Je remercie les camarades du parti qui ont bien voulu m’accompagner. Je remercie le professeur Ouégnin qui s’est déplacé pour venir nous assister. Je voudrais d’abord manifester mon soutien au Nouveau Réveil.
Je sais que vous êtes menacés, attaqués parce que vous avez commenté les propos de monsieur Adjoumani. Le FPI vous apporte son soutien parce que c’est votre rôle de dire ce qui se passe dans le pays
. Vous avez dit ” Fauteuil Blanc”, c’est pourquoi, je voudrais avoir une pensée pieuse pour Mamadou Ben Soumahoro l’un des grands journalistes de ce pays. Ce sont eux qui ont lancé cette idée de ” Fauteuil Blanc” pour inviter les leaders politiques de Côte d’Ivoire à parler. Mais je voudrais aussi, avec votre permission, vous demander que nous ayons aussi une pensée pieuse pour ces Africains qui ont été tués dans un camp de détention en Libye.
Pourquoi j’évoque cela ? D’après les statistiques qui sont données, la Côte d’Ivoire est le pays qui fournit le plus d’immigrés clandestins en Europe. Tous ces immigrés qui partent, certains meurent dans le Sahara, d’autres sont des esclaves en Libye, d’autres encore dans la Méditerranée. On dit que un (01) sur trois (03) meurt dans la Méditerranée. En 2017, il y a eu 17 000 Ivoiriens qui sont arrivés en Italie. Les Français ont fait les statistiques en 2017 pour voir le nombre de demandeurs d’asile. Sur le nombre de demandeurs d’asile, il y a près de 68% qui sont des Ivoiriens. Donc aujourd’hui, on peut dire que nous sommes en deuil. Nous sommes en deuil.
Certainement il y a des Ivoiriens qui sont parmi ceux qui sont morts.Je voudrais aussi profiter de cette occasion pour avoir une pensée pieuse pour un de mes codétenus qui vient de mourir à la Maca il y a quelques jours. Vous voyez pourquoi nous disons que le pays n’est pas réconcilié, le pays n’est pas en paix. C’est pourquoi, nous sommes heureux d’être ici avec vous ce matin (Ndlr hier matin) pour donner les pistes que le FRONT POPULAIRE IVOIRIEN (FPI), sur instruction de son président monsieur LAURENT GBAGBO, propose aux Ivoiriens pour sortir de cette situation.
