L’ancien capitaine de l’équipe nationale de football les Eléphants de Côte d’Ivoire, Didier Drogba, est candidat à la présidence de la fédération ivoirienne de football (FIF), pour la succession de Sidy Diallo, a-t-on appris par l’agence ivoirienne de presse (AIP).
Le nouveau président de la Fédération ivoirienne de football (FIF) sera connu en 2020 à la faveur de l’assemblée générale élective, toujours selon l’AIP.
A plus de 6 mois de cette élection, des candidatures sont déjà annoncées et pour la première fois depuis bien longtemps, l’on assistera à un scrutin très ouvert avec de nombreux concurrents.
Plus candidats sont annoncés en plus de celle de Didier Drogba: Malick Tohé, Idriss Diallo, Bonaventure Kalou, Eugène Diomandé et bien sûr Sidy Diallo ou Sory Diabaté pour le compte du bureau sortant.
Ce qui était une rumeur a donc fini par se confirmer. L’ancienne gloire du football anglais, ex-buteur de Chelsea, ambitionne désormais de marquer des buts à la tête du football ivoirien.
