PARIS / Hommage à DJ Arafat : « Gazè kagnon » Seuls les morts sont honorés
Dikaêl LIADE dans sa chanson « Gazè Kagnon » en hommage à Gnahoré Jimmy expliquait que malheureusement dans ce monde d’hypocrites, l’homme n’a de l’importance aux yeux des parents, des amis que lorsqu’il est décédé. Cela vient de se démontrer le vendredi 23 Août dernier à Paris à la soirée-hommage à la mémoire de DJ Arafat.
L’ESPACE NOiSY de Noisy-Le-Sec refusait du monde. Presque le tout-Paris africain et singulièrement ivoirien tenait à rendre hommage de DJ Arafat. Mais une question :
Où était tout ce monde lorsque DJ Arafat faisait son premier spectacle seul à l’affiche dans une grande salle conventionnée de Paris : Le Bataclan ? Ce concert qu’il attendait pour réellement relancer sa carrière internationale lui avait pourtant laissé un goût amer parce que Paris n’avait pas répondu à son appel pour cet événement d’ailleurs rebaptisé « POTEAUCLAN » en raison du fiasco enregistré alors.
C’est encore ce même Paris qui a investi l’Espace Noisy pour lui rendre hommage. Les tee-shirts à l’effigie de l’illustre disparu se sont vendus à 20 Euros comme des petits pains. C’était la condition d’accès à la salle où l’on a enregistré une rupture de stock de boissons, obligeant les organisateurs à faire des ravitaillements à deux heures du matin. Idem pour les sandwichs (1/2 baguette) vendus à 5 euros. C’est dire tout le succès qu’a connu cet hommage à DJ Arafat.
Félicitation au Comité d’organisation sous la houlette de Lino Versace pour cette forte mobilisation.
Même si le déroulé de la cérémonie faisait un peu désordre, force est de constater que ce fut une belle ambiance faite d’émotions pour tous ceux qui sont attristés par la mort de DJ Arafat.
Un cahier de dons a été ouvert pour tous ceux qui désiraient soutenir la famille de l’artiste, laquelle, selon Lino Versace, a suscité cette soirée.
Ce fut donc un bel hommage festif à la hauteur du defunt.
