La chanteuse et entrepreneuse Rihanna estime, dans un entretien au magazine Vogue publié mercredi 9 octobre, que « la personne la plus malade mentalement aux Etats-Unis aujourd’hui semble être le président » Donald Trump.
L’artiste barbadienne accuse le locataire de la Maison Blanche de lier systématiquement à des troubles psychiques les fusillades perpétrées par des personnes blanches mais de qualifier, parallèlement, d’actes terroristes celles dont les auteurs sont issus de minorités ethniques. Le président américain a ainsi expliqué, en août, que les « maladies mentales » étaient à l’origine des tueries d’El Paso (Texas) et de Dayton (Ohio), menées par des tireurs blancs.
