Ouattara met en garde les cyberactivistes de l’opposition: « nous serons fermes contre les fake news »
A un mois de la présidentielle ivoirienne, le président Ouattara a promis, le 26 septembre 2020, à Bouaflé, la fermeté face aux fake news.
« Les démarches sont en cours. Il faut travailler avec facebook, avec tweeter, avec l’international. Il y a des gens qui s’adonnent à des fake news. Nous finirons par les attraper», a averti M. Ouattara qui s’exprimait dans une conférence de presse qui a clôturé sa visite d’État dans la région de la Marahoué, dans le centre-ouest du pays.
Selon M. Ouattara, plusieurs personnes, déjà interpellées pour diffusion de fausses informations sur les réseaux sociaux ont dit être à la solde de l’opposition ivoirienne. « Nous serons très vigilants et nous serons très fermes contre les fake news», a assuré le président ivoirien.
Les fake news, surtout en lien avec le processus électoral, pullulent sur les réseaux sociaux ces derniers temps en Côte d’Ivoire. Il y a quelques jours, une fausse information sur une prétendue chute du président ivoirien Alassane Ouattara à Bouaflé pendant sa visite d’État, a fait le tour des réseaux sociaux.
